GPU makes a buzzing sound when in play mode

Hello everyone

So I have noticed that everytime I go into play mode in unity (a 3D project), theres a buzzing sound coming from my PC, and although I cant be 100% sure, I belive it comes from the GPU. Curiously enough, it also makes that sound when I use Alt + Right Mouse Button to zoom or Alt + left Mouse Button or Ctrl + Alt + Left Mouse Button.
Does anyone know why that is, if it is bad for my hardware and how I can fix it?

Which GPU do you have? I’ve also noticed something like that with my new workplace PC, which has a RTX 4070. I also have a new PC with a 4060 Ti at home, but I haven’t used Unity on that, yet.

I have a Radeon RX 7800 XT, which I believe is like an equivalent to the 4070 or 4060 ti.

Maybe check your render stats in game view to see if your game is running at 500 fps or something crazy. If that’s the case then you might want to enable v-sync or otherwise limit your frame-rate in some way.
