I have just “upgraded” to Unity 5.2 and I’m having all kinds of issues.
Firstly, whilst Unity is active I keep getting USB freezes. By that I mean my mouse will stop then start in a jerky manner and also keyboard input is very erratic. When Unity is not running, there are no issues. I am using Windows 8.1 Pro (64-bit) i7-4790K 16GB RAM.
In addition, I was hoping to release my game tonight but after “upgrading” to Unity 5.2 and rebuilding for Android my Android device is not displaying any graphics, only text is displayed. It does display the Unity logo at the start, but that’s it.
Am I missing something that Unity has changed significantly from 5.1 to 5.2 because I certainly never saw any large warnings saying you would have to reconfigure all your textures.
Hopefully someone else has had these problems (I mean that in a nice way) and has managed to resolve it because right now my game is just a load of text on screen!
