I picked up a Vizio Tablet for about $239 from Costco and it works well with popular games from Android Market, like Angry Birds, Battleheart (presumably a Unity game), Minecraft demo, and Star Traders Elite. But our 3D space game encounters graphical glitches. Here is a photo (taken with iPhone 4S) of the problem. The background is supposed to be of a nebula, but you can see there’s an outline of a box with a diagonal line which shouldn’t be there. There’s also bad flicker when this happens. The game runs fine on my two test Android phones, the HTC Evo 3D and Nexus One. Anybody else run into this or have a fix?
Hi, did you ever manage to correct this? It seems to me that the tablet doesn’t like certain shaders, I was able to borrow one and both the skybox and bump shaders were acting in very glitchy ways. I’m testing on the old Evo 4G and an Acer Iconia A500 tegra 2 tablet, and both work beautifully.
I was going to try switching shaders or to OpenGL 1.x support (though I’m not staying there!).
