any texture I try to use for terrain grass, randomly has a single pixel line along one side. I attached a screen that shows the grass that Unity comes with. How can I fix this?
In the properties for the texture asset, set the wrap mode to clamp. The edges are bleeding over from the opposite side of your texture, which happens due to texture filtering. Texture filtering is good, you’ll want it for grass, but if you clamp the texture, it will prevent filtering affecting the edges. Essentially, clamp prevents your UV coordinates from ever going outside of the range 0.0 to 1.0.
yeah, the texture is set to clamp. this is the out-of -the-box grass that Unity comes with.
This seems to appear as soon as I add a detail mesh. If I have only one grass layer, then it renders fine. as soon as I add a detail mesh layer, this edge line appears on all grass layers.
