Hi there, i’m making a massive terrain of about 15kmx15km.
grass, rocks trees, and other smaller terrain are pretty much basic templates.
what would be the most framerate effective way to place these items?
I have looked at mega scatter the asset, and terravol too, but I’m not sure if that’s the way to go.
Also grass, if i wanted to make a game that me and my friend could play, so a multiplayer game, is it better to have grass on the map and fill it up, or grass generated by each player? would there be a difference in framerates?
What also is the best way to get billboard grasses allover the map but giving them a decent offset, as the unity editor grass tool is not giving great results?
