OMG … you have no idea how I am happy to have this feature… Only 3DSMAX had it for a long time and I think it should be a standard in 3D softwares …
thank you guys!!!
what is it?
the fact that if you pan move an object or any mouse related modification in the Editor, the mous cursor does not get stuck at the border of the screen but is “reinjected” in the other side(same for top bottom if th screen).
Its great for panning iin a scene without worrying of “hitting” the screen borders
What is this I don’t even
edit : Ok I didn’t even notice this feat in U3 :o thanks
Wow, I didn’t even know that Blender didn’t have this. That’s stupid that it doesn’t. However, I use a tablet, so there is physically nowhere for me to go, at the edge of the screen, in Unity. And in Blender, I use a SpaceNavigator, so it’s generally not important there either (although it would be better if it worked like Unity does, for the 2D window types). Considering you’re using Max, you should be using a SpaceNavigator too.
Yup, blender has had this for quite a while.
That’s not what I said at all. Maybe 2.5 does, but not 2.49.
yeah, I have seen some youtube video and it looks great.
I’ll ask Santa claus one of these
but … Let me think about it … It would be great if I bundled a SpaceNavigator with the application I deliver to my customers…
Does someone has develop a driver for Unity standalone apps, or an API around this device or anything is planned ?
Some final user find it hard to navigate in FPS mode … this device COULD be a solution…
Just a thought…
“the mouse cursor does not get stuck at the border of the screen but is “reinjected” in the other side”
Just noticed this the other day too, wonder if it is new with 3.1 or was in 3.0 but I didn’t notice it.
I use Max and a Space Pilot but the SP doesn’t help when dragging a spinner in Max, that is all mouse.
I agree with Jessy’s comment regarding blender having this feature for quite some time
Is this some kind of running gag? You’re the second person who said I said what I didn’t say.
I agree with Jessy’s comment that he didn’t say what they said he said.
