green fps indicators on every unity window

I get this weird thing where fraps style green FPS counter displays on every UI element. It turns on randomly and I could not determine if any speciffic action caused this. Really distracting and also obscures UI. This happens on many Unity versions, multiple computers, even after clean windows installation. On Both Nvidia and AMD graphics. Any idea why does this happen and how to disable it?

That looks like some 3rd party framerate overlay software like Fraps, not Unity’s fault.

yeah looks like it but for the life of me I cannot figure out what. Fraps is not installed and it doesn’t look like steam or amd software thing

My guess is you’re looking at the FPS overlay from ShadowPlay.

It does look heavily like the Fraps fps indicator, but you don’t have Fraps installed, so that (obviously) can’t be it.

I found these threads from another web site:

Stuff that’s getting mentioned there are “RivaTuner Statistics Server” and “Radeon Anti-Lag Notification Feature”. The latter could be the culprit.
