Congrats!
Looks really good and plays nicely.
Thank you!
shity character control… how can you be able to play like that… you can’t shoot the enemies and run away from them at the same time… too bad, the graphics were nice
reflexive, thank you for your professional and constructive feedback. Really, really helpful.
In answer to your post I agree that sometimes enemies walk too fast in relation to the protagonist.
We’re planning some tweaks (also in relation to graphics like Unity3 lightmapping). As you probably know, a game like this is always a combination of our vision and the client’s, so this means we both decide on how the game should play and feel.
(ps: “shity” is written as “shitty”.)
i only play-tested the first level in space for 1-2 minutes (can’t play games at work all day long ;)) and it looks really cool and professional.
nice work on the player model and animations!
like in your other game, though, i think it’s a little bit too hard with kids in mind, maybe you should simply slow it down.
I only played a few minutes. So far it’s pretty cool.
My gripe is the usual: The German keyboard layout does not have z and x placed next to each other conveniently. I’d like to be able to remap my controls if possible ![]()
The camera sometimes swings around in very weird ways that make it difficult to control your character at times. The controls of the character itself remind me of Lerpz Escapes. They feel a little stiff.
Other than that it’s a solid game.
I like the graphics ![]()
Beat the space level.
Someone obviously works at Marvel ![]()
Great game. I bet Unity is stoked that DC Comics chose to use Unity3D as its game engine.
this looks interesting. jumping on the super hero wagon eh?
i’m surprised in the level of detail. looks very pro. though i disagree with dbp! keep it as hardcore as possible. there is too much dumbing down to appease casual gamers.
Yes, please don’t make anything easier. Kids are just as good at playing games (if not better) and nobody seems to see this.
I do have to agree that the camera needs to stay behind the hero more, or have a toggle to reset the camera behind the hero. Possibly right clicking and dragging rotates the camera? Random suggestion.
And I also agree that it looks amazing! Was quite fun.
Hey, thank you for the compliments and comments.
We at Sticky Studios are often criticized for making the games to hard. But the fact is, that we noticed that re-playability increases when things get more challenging (we keep stats). The reward is higher if you manage to end the level after a few tries. Result: you feel good + positive brand experience.
Ofcourse, if it’s way too hard it becomes a negative thing again.
When you look at games from the 80s, they are so tough since they were built for arcade halls. They wanted you to keep throwing in dollars. Nowadays, content seems to short lasting, because of the easy difficulty.
But we underestimate the kids; they might be bad at it first, but after a few tries they probably play better than us.
