Grid snap to unity Terrain Brush

I want the terrain in my game to look like it was procedurally generated on a hex map (like in Humankind, for example). I would like to manually create such a map. But for this I need the brush to move along the hexagonal grid. Are there any options on how to do this?
I also don’t have to do it directly in Unity. I just need to essentially make a hex-style heightmap. Other software will also work.
