came across this app from the Apple site. It’s a sort of hybrid 3d environment designed for artists.

Might be a winner for the less 3D-savvy Unity users. Not sure if it export .fbx yet - I’m downloading the trial as I type.

Anyone used this before?

Looks interesting, but more for visualizations.

You can get this out of it:

Output: TIFF JPEG; QuickTime Windows Media.
Export: Wavefront OBJ polygon meshes.

Seems not very useful to Unity Users on first looks. But i´ll give it a try. It may come in handy for other design works. These Bot features seem to be very powerful.

I’ve had a little play on the Windows version (Mac when I get home)and it’s pretty cool. Procedural generation of pretty abstract shapes. Could be good for some really wacked-out surreal level design.

Also, with the GroMobile technology you can make cool little desktop physics simulators and puzzles. I’ll give it a go once I get home.

Looks very cool but I suspect it will blow out Unity’s polygon limits immediately.
