Group objects together when lighting them

I have a tile set however when it gets lit it doesn’t look good due to the fact that it looks like this:

As this picture shows the lighting makes it look awful. Is there a way to make it so that it lights all of these objects as if they were one solid object?

Don’t smooth the normals. Either edit them in your 3D app, or select Normals->Calculate with a small angle for your mesh importer.
