GUI.Box with Custom Style: Stretching the background to fit text expansion.

Hey all, new to unity. I’m creating a “text bubble” using a custom style assigned to a GUI.Box. I have the borders set so that it acts as a 9 sliced box, however, if there is more text than the the normal height of the texture, it doesn’t expand. I’m sure there’s a way to do this, but I can’t seem to figure it out.

Ive been working on this for over a week. This is a huge problem since my text is dynamic and every changing. The background has to fit variable text sizes… BUMP. Any help appreciated.
