So, yesterday my project was fine. Today, I open it up (on my MacBook Pro with 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM and a GeForce 8600M GT and my GUI textures are really messed up.
I’ve tried restarting Unity, restarting the Mac … but nope … it all looks like the image below.
What happened? Any ideas?
Thanks!

Sorry … this is in the IDE only. In the web player, it looks fine.
I didn’t change anything. Images were imported from PC version of Adobe Fireworks in TIF format. Yesterday, they were good. Today, they are bad.
This is ALL my GUI graphics …
Look at my beautiful title screen, below
Thanks!

Is it possible you turned on some specific render texture effects. Or grab pass effects? This issue will be fixed in 2.1 as well.
Woot! When is 2.1 scheduled for release? I’m getting the shakes for it … it’s like queuing up for MarioKart Wii last week - getting all excited!
Thanks, mister.

Maybe related?
I’m doing some hardware compatibility tests, and my gui looks like this for one of my testers. (the text on the buttons should say 4x4 5x5 6x6 etc).
Looks fine on other machines.
I’m pretty sure it’s not because of fraps showing that ugly 50 ontop, fraps was turned on to create a screenshot because the gui didn’t work.
I haven’t gotten to the bottom of this yet, but figured these things look like they could be caused by the same thing, so I’m adding a datapoint.
(I love saying datapoint… datapoint, datapoint…)
