GUI transparency from TGA

Hi all,

I have a Tga file and i want to use it as a HUD.part of it I want to be semi transparent (fog-like) and the other not transparent at all (the score panel)

when i use unity GUI texture it override the alpha of the tga file and makes all the image have same transparency

Any ideas?

found the problem. the alpha in the file wasn’t good. after reducing the fog transparency it looks better.
