GUI working in editor, but not after build.

Hello there!

I’m almost done with my game and ive encountered a really annoying issue… When I build my game to play it as an exe one of my scripts stop working. It’s my main menu script where ive created some buttons. They appear in the editor play but now when i build the game. I have tried all resolutions and aspects and i havnt got any errors…

Please help!

The first thing is to check the editor log directly after a build (use the button in the top right corner of the console window). This should tell you if there were any errors during the build and might at least give you something to work with in diagnosing the problem.

Where is the value of MenuActive changed? Try putting a GUI.Button call at the top level of the OnGUI function (ie, not within an ‘if’ statement) - this should tell you if MenuActive is not being set to true for some reason or if there is another problem.
