here is a 50 cal that i am working on…few more details to add then will add textures in a few days… What y’all think?
Hard to tell by that picture but it like a real low poly weapon. Are you going to add the holes in the barrel? What about the side components? Overall it looks fairly nice for a rough draft but I think its far from finished if you plan on making it “high quality”
no it will only be low poly for this…Textures will do the work for detail…That’s what I’m after…later on I’ll make a high poly version…thnx

Like 720 close to that. It will little have more detail though…for the higher poly I’m gonna shoot for 2500
You can probably get all the needed detail in there at around 500 pollies or less and the rest of the detail would be in the texture work but I personally would aim for the higher detailed version as it would most likely be used in a single player game or something that can old allot more detail than the online games anyway
2,500 seems like a decent limit for the higher poly limit I would like to see this once complete and know the poly count, Good Luck with it =]
Thnx Patrick. Gonna add more today. Low poly will be for a game. Who ever wants it! May sell it though for low price around $25 .we shall see.
the thing i would do is make a high poly version of the gun and then bake it to low poly if you want HQ.

This is about 1000 polys, it’s not perfect by any means, but it will show you what quality you can get.
If i sell it,it will be on Turbosquid and asset store…$25 should be a good price! ill load wire frames on next screen shot.
