Happy birthday, Grandpa!

Greetings!

This is the first project Catie and I have completed by ourselves using Unity. I decided to make something fun for my grandpa, for his 80th birthday party last night. He got a kick out of it.

In the process of doing this, I learned about making 3D “cursors”, prefabs/instantiation, coroutines/yield, and we both just got some overall good training in a bunch of things that were new to us.

Hopefully it’s one of your 80th birthdays too, so that I can extend to you the same birthday wishes.

nice

Very cute! Sure he loved it!

Cool - possibly the first Unity greeting card!

Very cool. Better than the cake I made for my mom in Unity for hers. :stuck_out_tongue:

What flavor was yours? :stuck_out_tongue:

Has anybody been able to get this running on Windows Vista? I got it working on XP, though getting it to do so was unintuitive (a first for Windows :P). Another guy’s work PC, running Vista, doesn’t seem to understand how to put these two files together at all.

Hey this is great!

nice! - it’s cool when you can make something like this instead of buying it ; )
