I phoned them up back in 2010 to make sure it was okay to make Unity3d.ca live and they said yes. Had they said no, I would have trashed the idea and got a rid of the website.
Meh, it’s Unity not Unity3D after all - so all good ;).
i hope the person you spoke to still works there and that you remember their name. if you didn’t get something in writing or at least email, it may not hold up anymore.
