Happy Heist Update #2 With Improved Demo!

LET ME REPHRASE THE POLL How good is the game play concept?

This is update #2 for Happy Heist. In the update, it includes new things such as:

Better Perspective
New Enemy Attack Helicopter
Sound Effects
Enemies Will Enter Through Top and Bottom
Using the Shuriken Particle System for Projectiles
Explosions!
A few others…

I have made minor optimizations, but this is still in prototype so it will improve a lot once it is out of the prototype stage. This update will focus on the action of the game. I have added an Attack Helicopter that will drop off troops from the top of the building, then will proceed to attack from the side. The player is still invincible as I am trying to work out a better health system. You must wait a little bit for the police units and the helicopter to arrive. Once again, the action starts once you attack and kill a guard. At that point, the police units will spawn.

Like I promised last update, here are the class types: Marksman, Specialist, Gunner and Hacker

Here are the controls:

A, D = Move left and right
W, S = Strafe forward and back
Left Shift = Run
Mouse Aim = Point the gun
Left Click = Shoot
Mouse Scroll = Zoom level

Get to the top of the building and touch the green box (this represents robbing the bank).

First off, make one thread and post updates there. Don’t make a new thread after each update :wink:

Apart from that, I find the perspective unique but it doesn’t work in my opinion. You can’t see the depth so it is difficult to get up the stairs or even try to shoot one of the cops!

Agreed, try raising the camera a bit to get some sense of depth

Thanks guys for the suggestions it really helps me out. What did you guys think of the concept of the gameplay? Did you wait a little bit for other units to arrive? Do you like how the helicopter dropped off units at the top of the building? I tried to speed up the gameplay, just so that you guys know how the game might play like, but it will be a lot longer and more fun in later updates.

Please keep things in one topic- I suggest a mod merge the two.

Guys I really would appreciate some feedback besides the perspective. Do you like the action of the game and the concept? Make sure, after you take out a guard that you wait a little for more units to come. PS you Can take out the helicopter.
