Hi
I am currently trying to develop on a surface pro i5 and it is painfully slow. I am looking at buying a mini pc (I have to transport it overseas) and was hoping for some recommendations. My general rule is to buy the most expensive I can afford but thought I might look for a more nuanced approach so any recommendations gratefully received.
Hardware requirements for developing a Pong like game would be different to creating a VR game for example. You should be quite specific what you’re trying to create in order for people to recommend you a good system for that.
you are absolutely right - i forgot to mention that! I am developing a VR game for Google Cardboard. It is a mix of CGI graphics and 360 video which will either be embedded or streamed, depending on the source.
edit: and I also want to be able to edit 360 video - stitch it, cut it, add external audio, clean it up
