Was it difficult? Expensive? Aside from the control system, what needed to be changed?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

As talk about wii specific things in the public is not allowed I doubt there will be many answers (also supported by the fact that it is not easy to get Nintendo Dev Licenses to even license Unity Wii).
But you could contact UT to potentially get in touch with teams that did so should you be a Wii licensee, don’t know if they support interested devs in such cases though
I worked up a web prototype, and then transferred it to Wii. Biggest problem was the shaders. The controls didn’t take very long. Getting multiplayer work was rather simple (the original prototype was web multiplayer), we also added a split screen. Took just a day or so to port it over.
Tempest:
We are using really simple shaders… I would hope that there wouldn’t be too much problem there.
Dremora:
Too bad about the secrecy. That might be a problem for me… I’m kind of a loud mouthed idiot sometimes. Can’t help it.
When you’re under NDA with a large amount of signed legal documentation, you might find your lips are a little tighter.
… Only if you stand to lose heaps of money if you breach it ![]()
Otherwise it will be taken care of automatically. you will only break it once, then you won’t have enough cash any longer to tell about it on the WWW ![]()
There’s going to be a rough transition period then. I need to get used to having heaps of money before I enter into such an agreement.
Having nothing to lose does have it’s merits.
Plus, I understand that your headquarters cannot be a garage (that rules me out), bedroom, kitchen, or outhouse - must be a “real” company, with a “real” office.
So maybe the best approach is to find an approved publisher and go through them. If your game does well enough at the app store (and it looks like it’s doing very well) that should be possible.
In any event, hopefully you won’t have to rely on photosynthesis for nourishment any longer  - and it looks like you’ve got a bit more to lose this week than you had last week… Congratulations!
I think I’ll try the publisher route. I want to make more game, and Nintendo would probably just tell me to go away.
Not sure if the publisher thing would work…Nintendo requires you to be an approved developer, not simply have the funding from a publisher, though I’m speculating as to how far confusing this relationship could get. If the publisher is approved and has the dev kit, then perhaps you could get it that way.
Good luck in your search though! Exciting to see developers get some success!
