Looks like it would run on a half decent digital watch:

Exports to “Your own” file format.
Thought it might be useful for windows devs. I have no idea.

I bought it some years ago, when using DBPro. It was deprecated when 3D World Studio was released. The CSM file format is open and you can read it and export to other file formats, I think there was a SDK to develop export plugins (examples were writen in PureBasic).
Ambiera IrrEdit imports CSM files and exports to COLLADA (I had no luck importing it to Unity).
I wrote a converter from CSM to Gamestudio binary format (WMB), I dropped the project after realizing the prefabs don’t get lightmaps and only use vertex colors.
Regards.
Hmm. Apps that do vertex colouring are welcome in unity. Was it prelighting or vertex painting? I guess what the windows posse’ would need is a format converter that does work for unity, then it could be useful.
I’ll check it out when I dust off the PC next.

For lighting though I would use Gile at any moment, it is much stronger than CS in that aspects
