Has localization improved your app sales?

What kind of number jumps have you experienced from localizing your apps and iTunes descriptions?

I ask because we are contemplating what is the best use of our time to generate additional revenue… social networking, YouTube activities, Marketing, creating additional apps, improving current apps, localizing the apps we have, etc.

In my experience localizing your apps is only worth it if you do it right from the start / launch. I added some translated descriptions after its been for about 2 weeks in the AppStore but it did not gave me an extra sales impulse. (I added Spanish, German, French, Italian at the time)

I don’t have experience with localizing inside your game but it will depend on the amount of text you use. For a RPG I can image adding a few languages makes more sense then for Rat on a Scooter :wink:
