It˙s a singleplayer stealth-action game influenced by Cyberpunk genre, set in the year 2036 where you are playing a role of main character Jiro Azzaki who works as a hitman.
Through the different types of levels and targets, you˙ll be able to upgrade your skills in combat, stealth and hacking which simplifies and extends gameplay by using specialized gadgets or doing actions faster. Plot is also a vital aspect of the Hatchet, so you˙ll have to pay attention to your own choices. We are expecting Hatchet to be on Steam in the second half of 2017, but we won’t be able to achieve this goal without your partaking.
As promised, our first video teaser is published. Every kind of feedback is very appreciated.
We also published our first development blog. It’s an introduction to topics that we’ll cover in-depth in our future blogs.

Hey well done guys, the game looks great so far! How many of you are working on this?
Question on the gameplay video, are the vision cones for debugging or will they be always be visible?
I kind of like how they show you exactly where the enemies can see so there’s no confusion there.
So many stealth games are ambiguous in this area and it gets really frustrating.
For example, an enemy can see you when you thought you were completely hidden, and other times where they can’t see you and you’re right in front of them.
Thanks Serinx! Six of us are working on Hatchet.
No, the vision cones aren’t here for debugging. We want to give precise information to the player so there is no ambiguity on whether you’re seen or not. However the exact design of view cones is likely to change. We’re currently trying to find a sweet spot between showing enough information and too much information.
