Hi, exported this model from sketchup, but Unity3D seems to have trouble displaying the image texture.

I have tried load this fbx using other tools such as 3ds max and viewfbx, the texture image (the image mapped onto the tv screen) works fine. However, on Unity3D, the tv screen is always blank. Any suggestions?
I have tried changing the texture image folder to Textures inside unity, but still doesnt seem to work…

it could be that you didnt UV map your tv screen. Go into a seperate program and map the UV. Sketchup’s UV mapping is terrible. Try Blender
Unity 3.5 imports your model fine without any changes. I can see texture on TV screen. Maybe try deleting your Materials folder and reimport the model. Unity doesn’t reimport materials which already exist.
Hi Paulius, thanks for trying it out. I just created a new project with my Unity 3.51, just dragged the tv.fbx in there. The attached screenshot is what I see. There’s no texture images that got extracted from the fbx, I can see the materials, and specifically the texture image on the TV screen is missing from the material.
Could this be a unity 3.51 issue? Or am I not importing the fbx properly?[843-CM+Capture+24.jpg|843]
