I don’t think it’s a proper destruction lol. It’s just a cheap way of achieving something like destruction by building something out of different blocks and then on collision the blocks get seperated.
The destruction engine is currently not very good however, destroying an actual building wouldn’t work very well. Notice how they used a wood bridge with lots of beams that break off for the destruction demo.
Havok would be a dream, especially because of Havok Destruction. I’d immediatelly try to work on a multiplayer-mode that plays in one single level with one single goal: Get in this mall and gather points by turning it into dust. Or something like that, you know what I mean
Apex for the win. Especially because Nvidia is giving its Physx away for FREE. I looked into it but found no info on how to obtain/use Apex. It seems its already part of the latest version of Physx? So we just need tools to create stuff to use it and integrate it into Unity? If that happens, please don’t make it a pro only feature :lol:.
