HDRP + DXR on RTX 3080 causes crash

Hello guys,

Recently I’ve upgraded my GPU to RTX 3080, then I realised that HDRP + DXR caused crashes on my RTX 3080 whenever I turn DXR activate on.

The project was still working fine with my old RTX 2080S btw. And then I went to check on the the document and it said:
“NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 (laptop only), RTX 4000, RTX 5000, RTX 6000, RTX 8000”

and there’s nothing about the RTX3080

Am I wrong or it really doesn’t only work with RTX3080? And is there any advice for me to get HDRP + DXR work on my GPU now?

My winver is 1809 17763 btw.

I’ll assume its the RTX 3000 series which is not yet supported(?) by Unity for Raytracing.

SystemInfo.supportsRayTracing returns false on my system, even though I’m using a RTX 3070 with the latest drivers. I’m also getting crashes when I change the default renderer to D3D12.

Any news on this? HDRP dosumentation mentions RTX 3090 is supported, but Unity 2021 still crashes.
