HDRP Trees and Grass?

Is there a timeline for the release of HDRP tree and detail materials? Using any other material other than the Nature one on trees placed from the terrain results in complete performance drops and it also breaks the billboarding. I don’t see an alternative on how to use tree materials that work as they do on Legacy but for HDRP.
The same goes for grass and detail shaders, any timeline for those? If not, what other solutions could I try to get trees to work on HDRP without tanking performance?
I get that HDRP is a new pipeline and still under development but why advertise it as out-of-preview and production ready when it’s lacking such basic features.

For trees/foliage theres like 3-4 good HDRP shaders out there that work nice. Personaly i use CTI shaders for all my foliage and grass. I havent seen any big performance drops, or billboards not working. Biggest thing with HDRP is getting/creating shaders…
