[HDRP + VR] MSAA/Forward Rendering causes stereo effect in one eye

Hi,
I’m using Unity 2019.2, HDRP 6.0.0, and SteamVR Plugin 2.2.0.
Upon enabling Forward Rendering and MSAA I encounter the effect as shown by the attached image. I’m having a hard time determining if this is an existing bug or something I’ve failed to enable/disable in the RP Settings or Frame Settings.

I have the same problem Unity 2019.2.0a7.

I managed to get rid of this bug by disabling MSAA in the HDRP settings asset. Seems Unity 2019.1 doesn’t support VR + MSAA. Correct me if I am wrong.

I get the same issue, only when MSAA is greater than none (2x, 4x, 8x) and “MSAA within Forward” is true. Using SteamVR, and 5.16.1 for both HDRP and CoreRP on Unity 2019.1.9f1. There are also these purple flickering pixels in the right eye for me.

UPDATE:

Unity officials got back to me in a separate thread. This is indeed an issue with 2019.1 and will be fixed in 2019.2
