Hello there! We are pleased to announce the release of our new asset!
The Height Contour Decal is a Decal shader, that create elevation lines from depth data. It has extensive customization options to achieve the look you want. Useful for showing topographic of maps, or visualize the buildable zones in a tycoon game.

Limitations

  • Only URP and HDRP
  • The Render Pipeline Asset needs to support Decals

Hi, just purchased this, looks great! But two questions:

  1. On flat areas, the contour lines are quite wide, is there a way to enforce a minimum width for the lines?
  2. I’d really like to project the contour lines on a texture instead of on the terrain. (The texture is based on the terrain but repainted to look good at a distance, without tiling artifacts etc.) Is there any way to do that?
