help a noobie plz

hi guys,

My team and I are creating a side scrolling hack and slash game for a school project, this is my first time rigging and animating on 3DS max. Currently we are having problems importing the fbx to Unity correctly, there are no errors however the model becomes all crumpled up and whenever the animation is played, the crumpled blob kind of just jiggles. Unfortunately I am not in charge of the Unity part of this project, I am not sure if this is a problem from the Max end or Unity.

I have attached our characters run cycle, i was hoping someone can drop it in their engine and tell me what the problem is if this is not too much to ask. Like I said, I am very new to this so I probably missed out some details or settings that I need to tell you guys but just ask me and i’ll do my best to answer them. Thanks in advance!!

This is what its like in the screenshot, in the preview it looks fine but as soon as its in the scene view its completely bonkers

leoleotheiii, i think the problem arising from max. Can u check FBX export setting before exporting. The scale is in meter or in inch. Also check, that skinning is ok or not.
