[Help] Any pointers to recreate ‘extended glow’ seen in Witcher 3’s Yrden sign.

I have been searching for some time but could not return any results on how to recreate a glow similar to that seen when using Yrden in Witcher 3: The glow outlining the signs extend upwards, the alpha channel fading out as it goes up. If anyone has any suggestions on how to recreate this/any pointers that might help I would love them!!

That would just be a cylinder-like shape that uses additive blending.

Additive blending adds color to the screen -instead of replacing what’s already on the screen- which gives the impression of “glowing”. See:
