Hi everyone! I’m new to using Unity. I’m currently taking a class at my university and we’ve recently had to come up with our final projects. I decided to make a 2d sidescroller but with a large round world instead of a bunch of flat screens. The best way i can explain what it is I want to do is a 2d version of what the worlds in Super Mario Galaxy are like; just side scrolling on a round surface without falling off. At the moment I’m trying to make the floor a huge cylinder but it’s not working. My character is a simple cube and it walks on it until it starts turning cause the cube just walks straight. Does anyone have any prior experience with this? Or maybe any ideas? Thanks! And sorry if this doesn’t make too much sense.
