Help finding a solution

Hi,

i know there is a toon of tutorials/resources here, but i`m having a hard time finding the right one for me…

here in the studio we decided to take our first steps into networking…but there is so much stuff here and my knowledge over network is so limited that i not really sure what/where to look

We make small games to help teachers, almost like simple 2d-simulators. and now we want to make so that the teacher can use this simulators together with the students in the classroom. we managed to do those basic unet local multiplayer and it works.

for the sake of making things easier to understand, imagine a simple Kahoot(kahoot.com) where a teacher can make a question, and the students “log” into the room and answer.

now none of this needs high-speed/quality, nor it REALLY needs online(people will be in the same classroom).

that said, what are my best solutions for this? which tutorials/resources should i pursue? what should i study?

What should i do in relation to basic networking?
or in server? maybe just keep a peer-to-peer local lan?

thnx for any feedback and help!

I’d suggest trying a few different networking solutions and figuring out which seems to work best for your use case.
