Hello guys. I’ve been thinking of any kind of games for the last 2-3 weeks, and thought of making this thread. Its basically, i give you guys a word, and you write down what ever comes in mind. I hope this thread will give me some ideas for a game. The word i’ve been thinking of is:
FEUDALISM
(Tell me what you would like in a game called Feudalism, or a game with Feudalism as the ‘theme’. Also tell me what kind of game it should be(fps, mmo, Strategy, 2D, 3D etc.))
I think of Feudal Japan, with horsemen, samurai, ninjas, etc. I’m thinking an RTS with units of that sort, then players working to control different territories in an attempt to conquer the country.
Other than that, I’d’ve said some kind of 2D TBS or possibly a territory based MMO (kinda like how EVE Online’s star systems change sovereignty all the time)
Ive been over that “working to control different territories in an attempt to conquer the country.” thing. -im thinking of making it like;
You are a poor farmer working in Feudal Japan. At the beginning all you have is you self and your belowed farming tools
Take your CEO and make him King. Take the rest of the various Cxx boardmembers and make them Dukes. Take the various managers and make them Counts. Make the various team leads/supervisors and make them Barons. Make the various “professionals” Knights and the run of the mill employees are Peasants.
Then sit back and watch the interaction…
edit: Picture the following… Corporate Total War. C’mon, you know you can - am I right?
Have five Cxx factions - perhaps have the CFO and CHRO as neutrals, etc…working for whatever side cuts a deal, often working for multiple sides without those sides knowing.
Yes, I want to see hundreds of little IT guys marching on to the field to kill hundreds of little Marketing or Sales guys…ahem.
