I am making a virtual reality fetching game however the dog follows the ball when i throw it but doesnt pick up the ball or return it does anyone know behaviors that would allow the dog to do both?
Just parent the ball to the dog when a trigger attached to their mouth gets in range and then have the dog return to a point in front of the player.

You’re in luck! I know precisely what will ‘allow’ this dog to do all those things and more. It’s called ‘coding’.
Seriously though, without any details about your implementation of the dog, the ball or anything in between there are so many assumptions to make that I am unable to compute this question.
