Seriously, i am sick of looking at art asset details, then getting bumped to the top of the list again and losing my place, thought process, etc.
I want to buy, i have purchased, but that list is getting damn long… I have to really think hard if that asset is interesting enough to click on to get more info.

Asset store really sucks like this. When you click back, you should return where you left off. It’s a fustrating process and I quit using it.

You can just skip the asset store, and any other asset stores online, and send money directly to my paypal if you like? Without money, you have less reason to look through the asset store in the first place.

Each individual is selling on his website as well. But from my experience, the Asset Store sells very well. Even when I put the price in my store at http://unity3dx.com lower than the asset store, there are still lot of people buying from inside the Asset Store.
I guess they feel more secure about the maintenance maybe?
Actually I update my package about one week before the Asset Store does. And I have currently 2 music packs stuck in the pipeline for + 2 weeks now.
I had to send 2 emails to get the reason: the ‘small’ picture key had a logo exactly 10 pixels too low and was partially hiding the text below.
I had to re-submit everything (+300 MB takes 4 hours with my internet) just to fix 2 small pictures.
I think they try to mimic the Apple store but not in the good way (they could avoid the long approval delay, complicated png transparent picture to prepare etc…, but for the sales, Asset Store is selling and it is the best market place as of today.
