Hi all,
I’m using Unity 4.6.0f3 pro on Windows 8, and I have an issue where I can’t change the unity project settings, specifically the general project settings… (any setting there).
I know the settings appear in the Assembly-CSharp.csproj and Assembly-CSharp-vs.csproj files.
I tried changing the files manually or via the project options, however every time I switch back to the Unity GUI (editor, not MonoDev) it overwrites the files back to the default settings (see attached image).
I tried uninstalling-reinstalling Unity, deleting the files and having Unity add them again, checked files are not read-only (and permissions are ok), re-importing all assets, restarting, running as administrator, cleaning the solution and rebuilding, still didn’t manage to solve this.
I also tried opening a new project and the problem appears there as well.
Since I have some unsafe code, I cannot run my project (I keep setting the checkbox and it keeps going back to unchecked state).
I even tried adding the line:
True
To the files manually several times or loading the solutions in VS12 and changing there, but every time I go back to Unity it erases the line and changes the files back to the defaults. This is true for other settings as well.
I would mention this issue only started couple of days ago, till then I had unsafe code (and the unsafe checkbox was checked). I’m not sure what happened since…
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Nadav.
