Help Needed. Retrieve Step Count from Input Manager - Android Step Counter

Hi Everyone.

I’m pretty new to game development and am looking to implement a Step Counter. I’m trying to retrieve the Device’s (Android) Step Count when I boot the game, then the amount of steps since last boot when I reload the game. Also I’m using C#.

I’ve tried searching the web for a tutorial and checked the guides. But I don’t think my knowledge is where it needs to be to understand these.

If anyone can help with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Caveat: there are others in the asset store, I have used none of them.
