I am using Vista and all of a sudden all Unity projects cannot be loaded correctly to the Unity dev environment, even after a complete re-installation.
Whenever a project is loaded, the hierarchy window shows nothing but only the ‘main camera’.
Have you tried to load a scene?
Default empty scene just has a camera in it.
This just happened to my another PC with Windows XP.
Yep the problem is solved by reloading the project scene.
So it seems that whenever you switch to another project, an empty scene is loaded instead of the default game scene.
