I must have done something because all of a sudden the controls are not working anymore and I dont get the UI thingy. I went and deleted the copy I was working to completely and copied it over again from the “public users” folder where it is installed and it is still not working anymore. The console does not show any errors and I am totally confused now why it does not work. What am I doing wrong?
Is Unity getting some data from project external files that might have been changed too? Or did it somehow write my changes back to the Default Bootcamp installation?
Something is definitely wrong here.
I dont get the UI screen anymore when I run the demo and so I have no way to get out of it. The solder does not react to my commands. It is all really strange.
It must have happened when I tried importing a first person camera script into the project. Somehow there was a conflict there with another asset, or something and the next time I opened Unity nothing was working.
After a few fruitless tries, I just deleted the whole bootcamp directory and copied it back over from the default installation, but it is not helping.
Any ideas what is going on?
Ok, it was a classic case of “have you tried turning it off and on again?”.
I had to reboot my computer and now it is working again. Still this is really strange and definitely not a desired behaviour
I cant be required to reboot every time a script runs havock in my project.
