Hi, I’ve been creating a game for several years and had it working OK in 5.20f3. I upgraded to 2017.2 and now my game freezes and so does my whole computer. It’s driving me nuts.
Can I reinstall the old version of Unity for this game if I can’t fix my problem with 2017.2??

Yes, you can install an older version of Unity.
But when you say it freezes, is it when you are doing a specific thing? Is there a crash log or an error log?

I get the error
I don’t know whether 2017.2 was fully installed.
Whether it’s possible for the game to load without a fully updated engine.
This is the first time I have gotten this message. I see other people have it too though I can’t find any solutions so far. I will try to renistall 2017.2

Check your firewall settings. That error basically says that unity can’t go online.
