1: i post on collab in forums and noone ever responds :(
and 2: how do i make a basic save system.
for the collab part, i know my posts arent the funnest and are a little tricky but i thought at least 1 person would be interested.
the saving part, i thought it would be cool to save it to a database, but i havent quite got my head around it yet. is there any easier way to do saving?
Sorry about the forums. I hear the IRC is usually pretty busy. As for here, best if you put the gist of your problem in the subject, rather than the generic title you have. As for saving, it's been a topic which has been asked about here a lot, so you can probably find it with a search, also if you type a question into the Question fields and hit tab, it will suggest similar questions already asked.
For the collab part, you need to show the community what you've done, and why they should be with you. Otherwise, you're just another person who steals everything they've done, and doesn't write their own code, rendering yourself worthless. So my opinion is make something great people WANT to be apart of, then post on there, more people will be interested.
As for the saving.
I find www.google.com the most helpful, as long as you put unity3d after whatever you need. Example:
