I’m a complete novice when it comes to Unity but I’ve managed to create a scene and all the basics for a generic racing game except one thing. The racer. I’ve got the model and I can grasp the basics of controllers but I can’t seem to get them to work together in harmony at all. All I want is a car that moves forward when I press forward (or back) and that turns when I press turn. It’s the only thing holding me back! Also, it doesn’t have to be perfect, it’s for a very early prototype so any help is fantastic.
