Help with First - Third Person Model/Camera

Now a Friend and I have Started our Project, But we have hit a snag.
The First and Third Person Camera part is not a Problem, The Problem is With the Model.
We Want to Know how to Split the First and 3rd Person Model/Camera apart from one another, and for example so you know what I am talking about:

BF3

First Person: Separate Reload Animations / Death Animation
Other Players see less detailed Animations and a Ragdoll Death Animation
So i know that your 1st and 3rd person character are separate.

In all, You see a Different character than everyone else…How?

Another Example: Skyrim
1st Person: No Legs ( Just Arms), Separate Animations
3rd Person: Again…Separate Animations and a full character.
But easier to understand…Since there is no Multiplayer.

We Want to Know this because we eventually want to have multiplayer and add a 3rd Person aspect to the game, and we know that this is a more optimized solution and then first person is more manageable.

So to Sum everything up: How do You Separate the First Person and 3rd Person Models and animations apart from one another, for multiplayer and such, Like How in an FPS can you see something different about your model than everyone else.

And to add 3rd Person to singleplayer would you just destroy the other model on button click when switching cameras?

Thankyou, and sorry for the confusing amount of questions…we… are just stuck… and no our game is not going be a straight up FPS if anyone is wondering…

Nobody… I hope its not… Like, Something extremely Simple…Cause I see it as a standard in most Video games.

And yes Im Obviously Bumping my Thread, Buts thats besides the point. I Just Cant find it anywhere Else on the internet…And Hopefully I am posting in the right Area. If not, Im sorry…lol.

Well… this is the last time I will bump I guess…Other Than that, ill probably just figure it out.
So, I wish everyone good luck with their games… and i hope I can find this on the internet somewhere…Its probably something simple too.
