Good day,
I am having trouble with this for a few days now and want to finally ask about this here. What you are seeing in the picture is an unintended effect.
I created a new project from the Universal 2 template that uses URP. I added a square sprite to the scene, started the runtime and dragged the sprite. This works like intended when using a solid color for the camera background.
What you are seeing in the picture is what happens when using the default skybox as a background. Not only does it not get rendered, it produces this weird trailing effect. The sprite uses the default sprite lit material and I did not change anything inside the project. I created it, opened it, added a sprite and the skybox in the lighting settings and started the runtime. (The screenshot shows an altered scene with the light removed but this doesn’t change anything)
This happens without fail with every project that uses URP for me.
Am I doing something wrong? Do I not get something about skyboxes and URP?
Please help me.
