Help with GUI Text, it's not showing in scene view.

Hi everyone, I’ve tried anything in this thread: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/132887-GUIText-not-working
but I can’t solve the problem, my version of unity is the 4.2 (free).

GUIText and GUITexture objects do not show in the scene view, since they aren’t really part of the scene. They can only be viewed in the game view.

I do not know if this was possible in earlier versions, although.

It was possible in old versions of Unity.
