I’m not sure where to put this to be more specific, and please bear in mind I am relatively new to Unity, I understand the engine but I’m not the greatest at more complex options and things like that.
I have modeled a robot/mech suit for a game that I am creating, it is not finished but I wanted to quickly import it into unity to make sure everything looks right and its what I want.
There are a couple of problems that I am having, first off is that there is a difference between two model files, fbx and obj, Unity can handle both but for some reason the fbx version things are distorted and misplaced;
But the obj version isn’t distorted;
I’m wondering why Unity cant handle this fbx file, although it isn’t super important it would be great to understand why.
Next, as you can see, the outside sphere is completely messed up and it will not show up, but it will change when I move around the camera. It is really hard to explain but please look at the Blender reference. The legs of the character inside also are the same. I am looking for a fix to this as I hate to lose all the progress I’ve done on the model in blender.
Thanks
