Guide to Optimising the Voxel terrain (currently just cubes) working really fast with textures and lighting?

Turn the Two player game (via keyboard) into a Multi-player Game via networking, so are there any good well documented free tutorials/examples that would get me started with this?
All help must factor in my N00b level of Unity development, preferably be in c# and be very cheap or ideally Free!
