Help With Making Smooth Weapon Animations

So, I’m currently working on a project that’s meant to be similar to the game Receiver and I was wanting to know if there was anything I’m missing in the way of making the smooth weapon animations and transitions between animation states.

Hard to say what you are missing without reference to what you currently have. How is your setup now, and how does it look?

May consider messaging Wolfire games - who I believe created that game for a gamejam, or other such short term dev cycle, and who rely heavily on community involvement.

I found that they actually give the source code for Receiver out, so I went looking. For reference for anyone else, here’s the source code and I found that it’s a lot of lerps and slerps working in tandem so I might look into that.
